I've been playing with the OECD country health data for a while, trying to find a way to present the the volumes of data in a meaningful way and it occurred to me that a balanced scorecard approach might be appropriate. A modified and perhaps distorted balanced scorecard, based on dimensions and indicators debated and decided upon by a committee of one, follows.
I should mention that the main reason I decided to build this in this format was to see how the new mapping enhancements are behaving with Tableau's updated v6.1. I love the changes they've made. It might be my imagination, but everything seemed to go much smoother and faster. Check out the new zoom features on the map. Lots of fun.
