I just love the improvements Tableau has made to the mapping function in their latest version. I'm not actually a fan of black vizzies, I prefer light dashboards especially for work. But the new dark map is fun to play around with in this forum. Perhaps the best improvement to mapping in Tableau is the new zoom controls. Hover over the map and the control becomes visible.
I've pinned this map below to North America because I was interested to know what activity led up to the largish (compared to Japan) earthquake that hit in Virginia on Tuesday.
